The North Carolina retail rate schedules will be increased effective for service rendered on and after October 1, 2007 due to an increase in Progress Energy Carolinas' fuel factor. The new Series 10 rates reflect this change. The net effect of the Commission's decision is an increase of $1.30 per 1000 kWh of usage.
