The ServiceOneTM award recognizes utilities that provide exceptional service to their customers as determined by a panel of industry experts. After passing a rigorous initial screening process, utility companies with top-quartile customer service performance are invited to complete an application for the award. PA uses performance data collected through the firm's customer service benchmarking program and evaluates existing best practices in the customer service area. An industry advisory group evaluates 18 measures, intended to reflect all aspects of customer service activities. They include call center operations, billing, meter reading, field service, and credit and collections.
