A Mechanic performs and inspects preventive maintenance and repairs to utility production units and distribution systems, ensuring that all work is completed within industrial standards and codes. Also, helps to lead assigned staff in preventive maintenance and repair of utility plant equipment and machinery.
A High School diploma is required along with satisfactory completion of the Power Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) aptitude test.
