The protection components are designed to fail shorted and are fused. The protector automatically recovers after a surge. The SS400HW is $5.95 plus tax per month with a one-time installation fee of $44.95 plus tax.

EXT50C-UPS Three Phase Service Entrance Protector

The EXT50C-UPS is a rugged, highly reliable panel protector for commercial three phase applications. Two advanced, metal oxide varistors (MOV) are the primary protective elements. These MOVs are each capable of handling up to 65,000 amps of surge current.. The protection components are designed to fail shorted and are fused. The suppressor automatically recovers after a surge.  The SSLMC is $29.95 plus tax per month with a one-time installation fee of $195 plus tax.
