Once you've signed up for e-bill, you can instantly view current Progress Energy bills, and will receive future bills online instead of by mail. 

How does e-bill work?
Progress Energy e-bill is set up so that your bill can be viewed instantly – with a simple click of the mouse – and paid directly from your bank account. You get fast, easy and secure access to your bills 24 hours a day.

Some of the convenient features
E-bill offers many versatile features to help manage your account:

• Instantly view your current Progress Energy bill (future bills will appear online - paper bills will no longer be sent by mail), but can easily be printed from your home printer
• Pay your account from multiple sources - checking and savings (not required to pay online - optional)
• Pay multiple accounts with a single payment
• Have your payments post to your account in less time
• Access your bill in Portable Document Format format (.pdf) to view or print - up to the prior 13 months
• Access bill in Comma Separated Value (.csv) format for downloading into financial software such as Quicken, or Microsoft Money.

In order to sign up for e-bill and view account-specific information, you must register to authenticate your identity. Your security and privacy are important. Registration allows us to identify you as our customer.
