Customers of Progress Energy Carolinas may “Sell All” of the electricity generated by their renewable sources by directly interconnecting the system to the grid. In South Carolina, you may also be eligible to receive additional incentives under this arrangement by participating in the Palmetto Clean Energy (PaCE) Program.

To connect your renewable energy source to the grid, you will be required to enter an interconnection agreement and a sale agreement. The interconnection agreement specifies the terms and conditions under which your system will be connected to the Progress Energy grid. This will include your obligation to obtain permits and insurance, maintain the system and in good working order, and operate it safely. The sale agreement specifies the metering and payment arrangements.   See the Frequently Asked Questions page for more information about "Sell All" configurations.
