You can pay your Progress Energy bill over the phone or via the Internet with EasyPay, a convenient payment option through a third-party vendor, EasyPay Powered by Siebel.

EasyPay is Convenient
To make a payment with EasyPay, visit https://pefeasypay.siebel.com/easypay/ or call toll-free 866-374-5376. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Business customers can pay via electronic check.  All you need is your Progress Energy account number and mailing zip code and a bank account number.  The payment plus a $5.95 convenience fee, charged by EasyPay, will be reflected on your banking statement.

You give out no more information than you do every time you use a regular paper check.
