What should I consider when replacing
my air conditioning or heating unit?
A heat pump with a SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) of 14
or greater and an HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor) of
at least 7.8 will help lower the heating and cooling portion of
your electric bill. Depending on the efficiency level of the heat
pump you install, and the existing system you are replacing, you
may be eligible for an incentive.
