Important Update: The SunSense Solar Pilots will resume in 2015. We will begin accepting applications January 14, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.
Duke Energy has been committed to the expansion of solar energy in our state for decades. Our first solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Florida was commissioned in 1988 to research the technology’s potential for delivering electricity directly to the grid.
Today, we are continuing to research renewable energy opportunities and offer you the opportunity to use and support the development of solar energy in Florida.
Get involved by participating in our SunSense programs.
SunSense Commercial Solar PV Program
This new program will offer incentives for commercial customers who wish to generate solar energy at their business through the addition of a PV system. Learn more.
SunSense Solar Schools Program
Solar photovoltaic systems will be fully funded for public schools that are designated as Enhanced Hurricane Protection Area (EHPA) shelters and selected to participate in the program. Learn more.
